Welcome to the training and advice section, one of the four key operations of our business. We learnt years ago that selling a hog or spit roast machine is only half the battle. If we can teach people how to use our equipment correctly, pass on our knowledge of the industry and give companies a helping hand then their business will grow and in the long term this will benefit both parties. We are not just another manufacturing company, our real skills, unique capabilities and core competencies lie in our knowledge base and our hands on experience. Every single member of our sales teams has experience working with the machines on a wide variety of events and therefore is perfectly placed to give advice to anyone looking to learn more about our products or the industry we work in. Listed below are a number of services we provide with regards to training and advice, to learn more about any of the options below or book in one of the packages feel free to call us on the number at the top of the webpage.

As Standard

With every purchase of a Hog Roast Services machine we provide a standard advice and training package this includes.

• A free instructional CD that contains information of how to correctly use the machine, plus loads of handy hints, tips and frequently asked questions.
• Opportunity to visit the factory and take a tour of our premises and also be given a demonstration of how best to use the machines. Plus one of our sales teams will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about our products, the industry, business start up ect.
• A member of the sales team will always be available to answer any questions over the phone or via emails with any questions about our products, the industry, business start up ect.

Delivery and Demonstration

We offer all our customers based in the UK mainland the opportunity to have your machine delivered by a member of Hog Roast Services. This can be done at a time and place to suit you and our representative will have already assembled your machine and give a demonstration on how best to use our equipment. We can even give live demonstrations on how to spit a pig, how to hog roast or use any of our equipment providing you source the meat products.

Live Event Demonstration

There is no better way to learn than in a live environment, that's why we offer a training package that allows you to learn from a professional who has years of experience working in the industry and with our products. All we ask is that you book in an event and we will make sure it is a success, letting you keep any revenue generated from that function meaning often you get paid to learn. We will be available throughout the entire process from advice on ordering, loading the van, setting up, cooking and planning, service, customer contact, cleaning up and all aspects associated with running a successful hog roast catering company.

Hog Roasting Training

We also run training days at our offices and factory in Clitheroe Lancashire. The days lesson consist of both practical and theoretical elements which includes information on

• Business start up
• The catering and hog roast industry
• Working on events
• Our products, preparation of meat, cooking, serving and cleaning and maintenance

The day will involve cooking a pig on a spit which will then be served at a semi live event in order for you to get a feel for how a typical event will work.
