The servicing and repair division of our company is such an important aspect of our business that we consider it one of our four key areas of operation. It all goes towards completing our vision of offering the complete package to our customers.
One of the problems with the manufacture of hog roast machines is that a lot of companies are more than willing to sell you a hog or spit roast machine. However very few are willing to provide the backup services, so if something does go wrong then often you can have a very arduous process of finding parts and a suitable engineer who can fix your machine. At Hog Roast services we like to do things a little differently all our spit and hog roast machine's gas systems are fitted and tested by our partner company Pilot Gas. They have over 20 years experience working with our machines and can offer complete piece of mind with their service because of their long association with our equipment.
All hog and spit roast machines require an annual service check for them to be legally used for commercial operations. This service needs to be completed by a company or person who is gas safe registered. Local authorities, event venues, event planners and customers will often want you to provide up to date documentation on your equipment so it can be very important to keep up to date with your service checks. We have 4 different packages with regards to servicing they are as follows:

Option 1 - Service Kit (Does Not Included Gas Safe Certificate) *
A lot of larger companies have an onsite engineer that is Gas safe registered and therefore don't require one of our engineers to service their machine; in this instance we can simply send out a service kit that has all the components needed to completely service the gas system. The service kit contains the following
2 x Pilot Lights
2 x Thermocouples
2 x Jets
2 x Gas Taps
1 x Instructional Document
Option 2 - Factory Service
We provide full 12 month service checks at our factory in Clitheroe Lancashire. To make an appointment or for more details call the number found at the top of the page.
Option 3 - Out of Season/Promotional Service
Because we have such a large customer base once a year we put our engineers on the road and run a special offer, whereby we offer a service at your premises at a greatly reduced cost. To be considered for this offer please call and confirm your contact details and you will be included in our servicing mailing list. Please note the offer generally runs during the months of February - March but is subject to change.
Option 4 - Service Call Out
We provide full 12 month service checks at your premises anywhere on the UK mainland. We can usually attend with 48 hours for urgent matters. To make an appointment or for more details call the number found at the top of the page.
* Please note Hog Roast Service does not take any responsibility for any work, repair, service or modifications done on a hog or spit roast machine by a third party or anyone who is not an approved Hog Roast Services engineer. All private work on the machine is done at the customers own risk and Hog Roast Services cannot be held responsible for any subsequent damages. Please also note that the service kit doesn't constitute a service check from Hog Roast services and therefore no Gas Safety check will be issued from Hog roast Services. We merely supply the parts required for the service and the gas safety certificate should be received for the company/person who performs the Gas Safe check.
