Fitted Machines

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

Good Afternoon the weekend is almost here as it is already Thursday!!

I thought I would take the time to tell you all what we have been getting up to today here down at the factory.

Myself and a couple of my colleges have just got back from picking up a couple of our machines that have been on hire for one week. The customer we picked them up from was amazed at the machine and the way it cooked his meat as he is a local butcher, he has now placed an order for one of our machines (which is from our special range) to actually be fitted into his shop. Usually these kinds of machines are fitted into restaurants and hog roasting vans but he told us the amount of compliments that he had received on the look and more importantly the taste of the meat that he chose to cook on them was outstanding, as he was only testing out the machine to see if his customers would like the idea of him also selling cooked meats in store too. This is great news and we love to help people that are looking for ideas of fitting hog roasting in to there business.

Autumn Arrives

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

Good Morning everybody.  Its Thursday the 6th of October 2011 and as I gaze out of the Factory window on this crisp October morning it really seems that Autumn has well and truly arrived, there is a slight frosting on some of the cars in the factory car park and the air is definitely much cooler.

Autumn means many things to different people but for myself and the rest of the pig roast machine building team it means a slightly slower pace in our working life.  Whilst we will continue to be busy in the Autumn and Winter we will not have the same manic rush that we did during the Spring and Summer months.  Still it will be steady away in the customer visits, building pig roast machines and sending them out but the less orders will give us time to concentrate on the next hectic season and make plans to be even better in Spring and Summer 2012.

So keep reading the machine blogs and watch this space over the colder months as we will soon be announcing our growth and developments goals and plans and how next Spring and Summer is set to be even bigger and better then ever before for the hog roast industry!

Now I had  better finish off this blog, finish my brew and get back out into the factory to see what new orders I have in for the day.  Don’t forget to join us again tomorrow for the Friday blog.  Chow for now fellow hog roasters!

Catering for Caterers

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

The power and usability of our hog and spit roasting machines have simply never been as magnificent. Of course, through the years our catering clients have played a massive part in this, which is why today we are catering for the caterers! Ok, so they are a tough crowd to please when it comes to preparing their meals; and they can see with a very keen eye just how something has been cooked. But, for this day only, they give us the benefit of the doubt and let us cook for them, allowing us the odd mistake. We do this because not only do they formulate and compose one of the largest portions of our customer base, but its due to the fact that they also help us to continually improve our machine units. This is achieved by reporting back from their numerous and clinically diverse catering operations ‘out-in-the-field.’ Through this great and mutually beneficial antagonistically symbiotic relationship, we have been able to make absolutely massive steps forward in the arena of the design and construction of the hog and spit roasting machine. Improvements made on our wheel and steering systems have been drastically moved along by our hog roast and spit roast machine catered events suppliers. So today we are making the preparations for a great feast, where we shall let the caterers see just how great the food can be – even when they aren’t cooking it themselves!
